Summer is over and now it’s the time to take a one more closer look at the latest season trends and summary my favourite and least favourite trends.

HOT

1. Wrap dresses

Wrap Dresses
Left Nobodyschild, Right Revolve

They definitely took over all fashion related social media accounts. I’m not surprised, they are super feminine, flattering and so easy to mix and match with colours and prints.

2. Slides

Comfy and stylish, what else you need? This summer shops offered unlimited choice in prints, colours and shapes and all fashion girls fell in love with them! I have one pair in my collection, but I’m really hoping that this trend will stay around for a while!

3. Stripes and floral print

Stripes Floral Print
Left: Warehouse – Right: Mango

They’ve been always around, but they seem to have a big hit over the summer and bring some fun into everyone’s outfits. How can you say no to them? Cute and easy to wear, I’m in!

4. Maxi kimono blazers/jacket

Maxi Kimono Blazers
Left: NewLook – Right: Asos

They are making every outfit looking glamorous and super chic. You need just simple top, jeans, the colourful kimono jacket on the top of your look and you the most stylish person around.

5. Gingham print

Gingham Print
Left: Prettylittlethings – Right: Anthropologies

I posted before my look in gingham dress and even after some time I find this print fun and flattering. After summer I’m planning to replace my gingham dresses with shirts in the same print.

NOT

1. Slip Silky Dresses

Slip Silky Dresses
Boohoo

I can’t really convince myself to wear them as every time I feel like I just left my bedroom without changing my pyjama. Maybe it’s the fit or fabric, I just can’t feel it, sorry.

2. Mesh Dresses

Mesh Dress
NewLook

Some people put them on the top of the look and some wear them with jeans or shorts, that’s the next trend I’m finding tacky and odd. No matter how I tried to style it I always felt that I look cheap and silly.

3.  Corsets

Corsets
H&M

I think that since every single brand started attaching corsets in their tops/shirt/dresses and every other pieces it became too much for me. We are surrounded by corsets and it’s difficult to scroll the collection without seeing at least one. it’s the time to say ENOUGH.

4.  T-shirt as a dress

T-Shirt Dresses
Missguided

That’s another tacky trend I’m not convince about. I was always more about classy and smart outfits, so maybe it’s just me, personally I them make it look like you forgot your trousers.
